Parks and Recreation

Grottoes has an extensive Parks Department. With two beautiful parks, Grottoes can offer various recreational opportunities.  Both Mountain View Park and Grand Caverns Park offer shelters for picnicking, fishing, trails/hiking/biking, horseshoe pits, playground equipment, and various other amenities. The parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

Shelter Reservations

Shelter reservations may be made by calling Grand Caverns at 249-5705 or in person at the Stone Lodge at Grand Caverns Park. Click Here for more info!

 

Contract Events

Either park may be reserved for large parties or business functions. All facilities can be reserved; however, the park will continue to remain open to the public.

 

Community Room

The Community Room at the Grottoes Town Hall may be rented for various events for the day for a fee of $100 plus a refundable deposit of $50.  You can obtain more information about reserving the Community Room by calling (540) 249-5896.
